Alicia & Kevin Wedding

 

                                                                                                                             June 22, 2012

 

Ladies and gentlemen, and Bill Marrs, Linda Bilton, and Kathy Marrs,

Today is one of the happiest days in our lives.

 

My name is Mark Kim, tonight’s Cinderella, Alicia’s dad.

My wife, Moon and I, sincerely appreciate for you to join the wedding reception tonight.

 

I said the same quote about time almost three years ago on my son Albert’s wedding.

 He married Amanda and now has an 11 month old boy, Hugo.

Time passes so fast like an arrow, but some other saying is it is like flowing water.

Children became young adults and once young people became old.

Not only time makes everything old and perished, but also time gives us

delightful crop of the wonderful young couple tonight here.

Thanks million again for Bill and Kathy to raise Kevin to be a handsome and multi- talented young man.

 

Now, we are celebrating the wedding of Alicia and Kevin to start a brand new journey.

There are so many wonderful words for newlyweds such as keeping Everlasting Love,

Sincere Understanding and Faith, Deep Consideration and so and so,

 but I think young people may know way more than us in many respects.  

The hard part is to keep doing those always.

 

Beside those, I just want to say this tonight: Everybody is born with one empty notebook.

It is up to them how to fill it and from now on this young couple got to fill it together.

I really want them to be happy to open it many years later.

 Our lives are mixed with this Korean four words, Hee-Ro-Ae-Rak,

which means Joy-Anger-Sadness and Happiness.

Sometimes we are so delighted, but some other times we are so sad and angry.

Please keep in mind no matter what and how we feel; it is one of those things.

In another word, every cloud has a silver lining.

There is always sunshine above the clouds.

That’s all.

 

Please enjoy tonight and encourage this brand new couple.
